Restaurant Le Petit in Potsdam

First visit and we are very positively impressed with the service, food and wine. Exceptional quality.

Went four years ago and had rabbit tenderloin and it was amazing. We went again today and the quality has not dropped. Really enjoyable, interesting and well prepared dishes, perfectly sized portions and we shared a great dessert. Attentive service.

Very small and cute restaurant in the Dutch quarter of Potsdam. The menu is straightforward and the price / performance ratio is okay. The service was also friendly and attentive, the handling of corona measures o.k. - but still expandable 😷

Very unfriendly service, we were turned away as guests despite the empty restaurant.

A nice place to stay and enjoy good French cuisine

I rarely write bad reviews but the service at this place deserves one. An extremely unfriendly waiter asked us to leave because we sat down before he cleaned the table. He didn't tell us to just wait for a second but outright told us angrily to find another place to eat because we couldn't tell by the spray bottle on the table that he hadn't cleaned the place yet. Insultingingly bad manners including shouting at us even though we were patient and friendly throughout the encounter. Not sure what life choices led this man to become a waiter.

This small, Mediterranean eatery is always worth a visit. Extremely tasty food and an authentic owner. Price-performance perfect. 👍

Excellent food, the best of our stay in Potsdam. Small but fine selection. The waiter had a sense of humor and was very attentive. It's a shame that le Petit doesn't exist in Munich.

Good food - funny waiter ... with charm

Unfortunately, the food was extremely burnt when we told the waiter that it was just balsamic. I never actually write anything really bad, but that doesn't work at all. The cheese was just extremely charred and so was the serano and it shouldn't have been served like that. Sorry, but no go!

Very tasty food and good hosts The two of us were looking for a restaurant in the Dutch quarter in Potsdam in the evening without a reservation. This is a difficult undertaking for Saturday night. Le Petit was also well attended. Not really a chance. But the owner quickly turned a table for four into two tables for two, everything paletti. The menu card is small, but not common for a restaurant. We had a filled saltimbocca as a starter and a main course with shrimp skewers with lemon butter or wild salmon with rice and vegetables. Everything was very, very tasty. The drinks menu is more like a wine list, but there is something for every taste. One thing is certain. We'll definitely reserve a table at Le Petit for our next Berlin vacation.

It wasn't just eating. It was 2 great hours with nice service, a great place in a chic neighborhood. We just enjoyed it ... shrimps, salmon, chocolate mousse ... everything was lovingly arranged and totally delicious. We can just recommend Le Petit to everyone. Thank you, we will be back.

Lovely tiny restaurant. The weather was amazing so we ate outside. We got the shripms with garlic and olive oil as starter. Also tried gnocci with zuccini and mushrooms as well as shrimp skewers. With 2 glasses of white wine(Riesling) we paid 50 Euros for two.

Service was OK, food was very good and served quickly. We were a party of three and ate and drank (no wine) for about 55€. The beverage menu is extensive, offering lots of wines. Please note, they don't take any debit or credit cards, so be sure to bring cash.

Delicious food (my favourite is goat cheese in serrano), excellent service, cosy place

The waiter was very rude, there was no need to be so rude to customers. There are plenty of places to eat around pick another one. No need to be treated lime this, they should care more how customers are treated. Not worthy at all!!!

A great restaurant with great service. In the wonderful Dutch Quarter you can indulge in selected delicacies Highly recommended ... preferably in pairs.

Food was average. Cheap baking ciabatta and tomato sauce with far too much sugar. Unfortunately the operation was impossible and the atmosphere was bad !!! Our neighbors sat with their backs to the day pass and should have got up to read them. When asked about the daily offer, the waiter says flatly: "Can't you read?" Unfortunately, I don't understand the unfriendly service staff, especially when only three tables are occupied and the waiter would easily have time for some help. The restaurant is not recommended!!!

I visited this restaurant by chance last week whilst in Berlin. What a fantastic find - absolutely wonderful freshly prepared food and the service was first rate too. Highly recommended.
